Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the mobile game Hive Heist (the "Game") collects, why, and what choices you have. The Game is published by Caglar Games ("we", "us"). If you have a question, write to mustafacaglar2022@gmail.com.
1. Summary
- The Game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
- The Game shows ads and measures how the Game is played. For this, the Game and its partners use device identifiers and usage data. On iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow tracking in Apple's prompt.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent before it uses personal data for ads. You can change your choice at any time with the "Privacy" button in the Game's settings.
- Your game progress is saved on your device and, as a backup, in the cloud under an anonymous player ID.
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.
2. Data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device and app information: device model, operating system, language, country (from the IP address), app version | Run the Game, fix problems, show ads that fit your device, measure the Game |
| Identifiers: identifier for vendors (IDFV), advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS with your permission, Google advertising ID on Android), identifiers created by our partners' SDKs | Ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention, analytics |
| Gameplay data: levels started, completed and failed, boosters used, session length | Improve the Game and balance the levels |
| Ad interactions: which ads were shown or tapped | Show ads, measure ads, limit how often an ad is shown |
| Crash and performance data | Find and fix crashes |
| Purchase records: product, price, date, transaction ID (no payment details) | Give you what you bought, restore purchases |
| Game progress and an anonymous player ID; if you sign in, your Game Center or Google Play Games player ID | Save your progress in the cloud and restore it on a new device |
Legal bases (EEA, UK, Switzerland): consent for personalised ads and ad measurement; our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the Game for analytics and crash reports; performance of a contract for purchases and cloud save.
3. Partners that receive data
The Game uses the following third-party services. Each one processes data under its own privacy policy.
- Ads (mediation): AppLovin MAX, which requests ads from Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager, Meta Audience Network, Pangle, InMobi, Mintegral, Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize (Vungle).
- Consent: Google User Messaging Platform.
- Analytics and crash reports: Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config), GameAnalytics, and the analytics service of our technology partner.
- Attribution (which ad brought you to the Game): Adjust, Meta (Facebook SDK), TikTok.
- Cloud save: Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Cloud Save).
- Purchases and sign-in: Apple (App Store, Game Center) and Google (Google Play, Play Games).
We do not sell your personal data for money. Sharing identifiers with ad partners for personalised ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out as described in section 5.
4. Tracking on iOS
On iOS 14.5 and later, the Game asks for your permission before it gets the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you do not allow it, ads are still shown but they are not personalised with the IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
5. Your choices and rights
- Consent for ads (EEA, UK, Switzerland): open the Game's settings and tap "Privacy".
- Limit ad tracking: iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Android: Settings > Google > Ads.
- Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection: write to mustafacaglar2022@gmail.com. Tell us the name of the Game and the device you play on, so we can find your data. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
- US state privacy rights (for example California): you can ask to know, delete or correct your data, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, at the same address. We do not discriminate against you for using these rights.
6. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
7. Retention and security
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Cloud save data is kept while you play and is deleted on request. Our partners keep data under their own policies. Data is sent over encrypted connections.
8. International transfers
Our partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
